Press Release: Mosaic is an annual publication of literature and art.  The book is made by undergraduates at UC Riverside, but contributors to the book come from all educational and geographic backgrounds.  There are a zillion small presses, like Mosaic, in southern California.  We can’t jam a zillion publications into a 4 hour showcase (or one museum), but damned if we’re not going to try.  Mosaic presents the first–but certainly not the last–Press Release.  Our job: To come together and present to you the finest of I.E.’s local writers, self-publishers, and literary press. Your job? To eat, drink, mingle, be entertained, buy books and zines, and find out about presses you can submit your own work to in future.

Telemagica 2010

May 26th, 2010

TeleMagica 2010, “Luminescence: The Year We Ignite”
June 4/5/6, 2010

TeleMagica Art and Music Festival is an annual event in the pristine natural landscape of Jacumba CA, 1 hour East of San Diego. 3 days/2 nights. Tickets available now online only: $40 by April 1st, $50 by May 1st, $60 by June 4. A gathering for the evolution of the human spirit through the arts.

The Promised Land: a landscape without limitations, where you can hear and discover music and performance art on stages, as well as in a rock cave or on a high mountain peak. A beach-like sandwash where your campsite is part of an entire tribal village celebrating each other, the expansive fresh air, as well as the full moon & a million stars at night. This land enhances magic, and your silent understanding! Within the sounds, the sculptures, the pyramid and the WaterSight Mineral Spring Dreaming Tubs, you awaken your senses…. you will find answers to questions that have gone un-answered….. This is more than a festival gathering, this is about discovering your next level of creativity, with other brothers and sisters counting down to 2012.

TeleMagica provides a stage for painters, sculptors, musicians, poets, photographers, film makers, performance artists, neo-vaudville, graf artists and creative ritualists coming together for exchange of ideas and talents, for connectivity and collaboration on projects, and for rejuvenation in a world where the support for the non-commercial arts has been evaporating. This is our 7th annual… in 09 we joined and Aligned the tribes and in 2010, en mass we will IGNITE from within to create LUMINESCENCE, straightening our individual emanations to connect with the emanations at large…

TeleMagica is put on by The Institute of Perception. The Institute of Perception and TeleMagica are dedicated to the Evolution of the human spirit through the Arts. Below is a full list of artists who will be performing at TeleMagica 2010!
